A lush summer wedding at Stones | Sometimes the back up plan is even better than the original.
Duo and Dean’s brief was originally for an Autumn wedding, with pops of rich burgundy and navy, but postponing to summer meant a slight change in the colour tones. We settled on lighter, sea blues and greens with creamy whites and soft greens.
To complement the sea glass blue of the bridesmaid dresses, I used nude toned quicksand roses with pops of tiffany blue textures and the silvery velvet dusty miller foliages for their bouquets.
More pops of soft blue were used throughout on the Chapel table and in the budvases on the reception tables.
"A highlight was making the generously proportioned foliage garlands that we strung overhead in th Barn, over the long shared tables. The garlands were made with soft ferns, silver eucalyptus and olive and the set of three overhead created such a romantic canopy. "
