Kate and Alex had a stunning summer wedding at Burnham Beeches.

When I initially spoke to Kate she said she wanted a fun, relaxed wedding in the forest with a cool twist.

I designed wildly textured bouquets with crisp white roses, silver painted leaves and red hot bright textures throughout. I also used pheasant feathers, dried ferns and some of my dried hydrangea to link back to the forest.

Fun fact – in this gallery husband Matt and 2 of our kids delivering the bridal flowers in the morning of the wedding. Super cute behind the scenes!

The wedding arbour was under a lovely big tree out the front of the Burnham Beeches mansion. I used the same dried leaves and ferns, and featured bright reds, whites and silvers with pops of faded blue.

I love how the bouquet picks up colours from the bride’s tattoos and the grooms tartan bow tie.

Carrying through the dried foliages and textures, I made two hanging installations for over the tables at the reception which was at The Piggery cafe on the Burnham Beeches grounds.

For the reception, Kate changed into a sparkly Sass & Bide jumpsuit and donned a gorgeous crown by Stephanie Brown
